I'm using the one that is kind of shaped like one in of a foot ball. These bits come in a variety of shapes and sizes so keep that in mind to buy the one that fits your collet. When I purchased my dremel it came with an assortment of collets to fit different size bits. I will list the dremel below for you. So make sure to check the list below. Now I'll show you how to rough in the next step of carving. Keep in mind, we're not going for the finish look, just roughing or blocking it in. Keep one hand down on the door to control how much material being removed. You can see how I roll the dremel to create the convex shape i'm after. By raising the back end of the dremel and using the very tip of the bit it is easy to create the veins in the leave. It's good to use references of the leaves your carving. I simply go find some from a bush that is close to what I'm wanting to create and bring them to my work station. The better the reference the better the creation. What problems with your project keeps you awake at night? Billy loves to brainstorm and help people when he can.
