Principles of Islamic Sciences - Level II Class 18 (25.1.14) Fahad Al Tahiri 720p KALEMAH ᴴᴰ

The course is going to cover three different topics: 1- Hadeeth: The chosen book is "الأربعون النووية" and the addition of Ibnu Rajab ,which makes a total of 50 hadeeth, of the Ahaadeeth of the prophet (peace be upon him) that are comprehensive of the foundations of our religion in many fields of religious knowledge. 2- Islamic Jurisprudence: The Chosen text is the Book (متن الأخضري) which is a valuable treatise in Jurisprudence covering the chapters of purification and prayer up to (سجود السهو) prostration of forgetfulness. Not only does this book teach you the basic rulings of purification and prayer, but it also starts with General Islamic Manners and etiquette which purify the heart, and in turn ground the knowledge stored within it, as one of our great scholars said "بالأدب تفهم العلم" "With manners you understand what you learn." 3- Linguistics: Resuming to the second level of Arabic Morphology, after a refreshing review of the most important principles of level one. In this series of classes there shall be many exercises and demonstrations of those principles on the Qur'anic text, and the ahaadeeth learnt in the first two topics, which in turn strengthens the speaking and reading abilities, and grounds the principles obtained in this course. Why this Course? Ustad Fahad will teach a course that has been exclusively designed for Students of Knowledge, based on the works of classical Islamic scholarship. The course will inculcate a thorough understanding of the fundamentals of Islamic Sciences as well as the love of seeking Sacred Knowledge ('Ilm). It is an excellent learning opportunity for beginners and seasoned Students of Knowledge alike. This comes in a time where there is much dispute in matters of religion, to the point that there are matters which were considered of necessity to know and were undoubted, and unquestionable in the times of the companions are now a matter of dispute! One of the scholars of the sixth century (A.H.) said: "If he who knows not remained silent the dispute will fall" then what would he say in our time . This is what also led Ash'Shaafi'iyy to say: "And there are people who have spoken on knowledge whom if abstained of some of what he spoke about it would have been better" & Ibnu Hajar said: "Whoever spoke on other than his profession, will come up with wonders [i.e. absurd faults]" So this here is a serious attempt to place things in their right places, just how our Great scholars agreed, followed and preached. About the Lecturer -- Ustad Fahad al-Tahiri Ustad Abu Abdillaah Fahad Al Tahiri is an Emarati Student of Knowledge and an Imam in Masjid Abu Mas'ood Al Ansariyy, Sharjah, U.A.E.
