This video is made available as part of the biofuels education projects funded by the National Science Foundation and the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The animation illustrate the process of fast pyrolysis which takes the bio-oil as example of the final product. It includes pretreatment, pyrolysis reaction, char collection, quench system, and bio-oil storage.
