Psalmul 50

[3] Miluieşte-mă, Dumnezeule, după mare mila Ta, şi după mulţimea îndurărilor Tale, şterge fărădelegea mea. [4] Mai vârtos mă spală de fărădelegea mea, şi de ppcatul meu mă curăţeşte. [5] Că fărădelegea mea eu o cunosc, şi păcatul meu înaintea mea este pururea. [6] Ţie Unuia am greşit, şi rău înaintea Ta am făcut, aşa încât drept eşti Tu întru cuvintele Tale şi biruitor când vei judeca Tu. [7] Că iată întru fărădelegi m-am zamislit şi în pacate m-a născut maica mea. [8] Că iată adevărul ai iubit, cele nearătate şi cele ascunse ale înţelepciunii Tale mi-ai arătat mie. [9] Stropi-mă-vei cu isop şi mă voi curăţi, spăla-mă-vei şi mai vârtos decât zăpada mă voi albi. [10] Auzului meu vei da bucurie şi veselie; bucura-se-vor oasele mele cele smerite. [11] Întoarce faţa Ta de către păcatele mele, şi toate fărădelegile mele şterge-le. [12] Inimă curată zideşte întru mine, Dumnezeule, şi Duh drept înnoieşte întru cele dinlăuntru ale mele. [13] Nu mă lepăda de la faţa Ta, şi Duhul Tau cel Sfânt nu-L lua de la mine. [14] Dă-mi mie bucuria măntuirii Tale, şi cu Duh stăpânitor mă întareste. [15] Învăţa-voi pe cei fără de lege căile Tale, şi cei necredincioşi la Tine se vor întoarce. [16] Izbăveşte-mă de vărsarea de sânge Dumnezeule, Dumnezeul mântuirii mele; bucura-se-va limba mea de dreptatea Ta. [17] Doamne, buzele mele vei deschide şi gura mea va vesti lauda Ta. [18] Ca de-ai fi voit jertfă, Ţi-aş fi dat; arderile de tot nu le vei binevoi. [19] Jertfa lui Dumnezeu, duhul umilit; inima înfrântă şi smerită Dumnezeu nu o va urgisi. [20] Fa bine, Doamne, întru bunăvoirea Ta, Sionului, şi să se zidească zidurile Ierusalimului. [21] Atunci vei binevoi jertfa dreptăţii, prinosul şi arderile de tot; atunci vor pune pe altarul Tău viţei. [3] Have mercy on me, O God, according to thy great mercy; and according to the multitude of thy compassions, blot out my transgression. [4] Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. [5] For I realize my iniquity, and my sin is before me continually. [6] Against thee only have I sinned I and done evil in thy sight, that thou mayest be justified in thy words and win when thou art judged. [7] For, behold, I was conceived in iniquities, and in sins did my mother desire me. [8] For, lo, thou lovest truth; the unknown and secret things of thy wisdom thou hast made known to me. [9] Thou shalt sprinkle me with hyssop, and I shall be cleansed; thou shalt wash me, and I shall become whiter than snow. [10] Thou shalt make me hear joy and gladness; the bones that have been humbled will rejoice. [11] Turn thy face from my sins, and blot out all my iniquities. [12] Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. [13] Cast me not away from thy face, I and take not thy Holy Spirit from me. [14] Restore to me the joy of thy salvation, and confirm me with a princely spirit. [15] I shall teach thy ways to the lawless and the godless will return to thee. [16] Deliver me from blood, O God - O God of my salvation - and my tongue shall extol thy justice. [17] O Lord, thou wilt open my lips, and my mouth shall declare thy praise. [18] For if thou hadst desired sacrifice, I would have given it; but burnt offerings do not please thee. [19] The sacrifice for God is a contrite spirit; a contrite and humble heart God will not despise. [20] Gladden Sion, O Lord, with thy good will; and let the walls of Jerusalem be built. [21] Then thou wilt be pleased with the sacrifice of righteousness, the oblation and burnt offerings; then they will offer calves on thine altar. [5] ότι την ανομίαν μου εγώ γινώσκω, και η αμαρτία μου ενώπιόν μου εστι διαπαντός. [6] σοί μόνω ήμαρτον και το πονηρόν ενώπιόν σου εποίησα, όπως αν δικαιωθής εν τοις λόγοις σου, και νικήσης εν τω κρίνεσθαί σε. [7] ιδού γαρ εν ανομίαις συνελήφθην, και εν αμαρτίαις εκίσσησέ με η μήτηρ μου. [8] ιδού γαρ αλήθειαν ηγάπησας, τα άδηλα και τα κρύφια της σοφίας σου εδήλωσάς μοι. [9] ραντιείς με υσσώπω, και καθαρισθήσομαι, πλυνείς με, και υπέρ χιόνα λευκανθήσομαι.
