Putin in submarine: Russian President Vladimir Putin takes trip in mini submarine

Russian President Vladimir Putin has taken a trip on a mini submarine to the bottom of the Gulf of Finland to see the remains of naval frigate Oleg. The remains, being examined by marine archaeologists, lie off the island of Gogland 180 kilometres (110 miles) west of St. Petersburg. Wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and white sporting shoes, Putin sat comfortably in the capsule's glassed front and submerged into the Gulf of Finland to look at the wooden wreck.
