Radical surgery cuts woman in half to save her

It's called the most invasive medical procedure -- a hemicorporectomy. The patient is cut in half to save their life. Developed after World War II to treat catastrophic injuries, the first surgery was done in 1960. Only 15 people who have undergone the rare procedure are still alive.
