Reliance Jio Summer Surprise Offer End

Reliance Jio, in a press statement, said that the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has advised it to withdraw the benefits of its Jio Summer Surprise offer. The telco has accepted this decision, and is in the process of fully complying with TRAI’s advice. The telco will be withdrawing the surprise offer as soon as “operationally feasible”, over the next few days. This possibly means that you still have time to subscribe to Jio’s Prime Membership and recharge with one of the plans costing Rs 303 or higher to get the Summer Surprise benefits (i.e. three more months of free services). Jio has also mentioned that all consumers who have subscribed to the Summer Surprise offer prior to its discontinuation will continue to get the benefits of the offer. The company hasn’t yet clarified if the Prime offer that was extended till April 15th is still valid or not. So it appears that days of freebies from Reliance Jio are almost over, and it’s now time to cough up some money to use Jio’s services.
