Remembering Debbie Reynolds (TV Movie - Battling For Baby: 1992)

A very sad day today as we learned of the passing of Hollywood legend Debbie Reynolds, just a day after her daughter, Carrie Fisher, passed away. As tribute, we present a short clip from the TV Movie, 'Battling For Baby', from January 12, 1992. Co-starring with Debbie Reynolds in this movie was Suzanne Pleshette (and a very young Courtney Cox, as well as Doug McClure of 'The Virginian' fame.) Debbie Reynolds worked on television numerous times over the decades, and 'Battling For Baby' was one of her final television movies. She had her own television series as well, 'The Debbie Reynolds Show', which ran on NBC from September 16, 1969 to September 8, 1970. Somewhere in Heaven, the angels sing tonight and Carrie and Debbie join Suzanne and so many of the Hollywood stars of years gone by. The Holiday Season is a season to count our blessings, and we have been blessed to have witnessed the charm and talents of so many fine actors and actresses over the many years: case in point, mother & daughter dynamos Ms. Reynolds and Ms. Fisher. Rest in peace Debbie Reynolds and Carrie Fisher... the angels have two new members joining them tonight.
