(31 Jan 2020) A key accuser in Harvey Weinstein's rape trial has testified that he made a series of unwelcome sexual advances.
She told jurors Friday that he once tried to kiss her as she strove to fight him off, then told her she couldn't leave until he, in his words, did something for her.
She said he then forcibly performed oral sex on her.
Weinstein's lawyers plan to seize on her complicated history with the disgraced film producer, including warm emails, as they look to raise doubts about her credibility.
Weinstein has insisted any sexual encounters were consensual.
The Associated Press has a policy of not publishing the names of sexual assault accusers without their consent. It is withholding the rape accuser's name because it isn't clear if she wishes to be identified publicly.
