REPOTTING ORCHID: WHEN, WHY, HOW.

Hi there! This is my big white flowering orchid, bought 15 months ago.First time repotting. Been through one bloom, rebloom and now in spike again. The roots are all over the pot, reaching out to tether the plant while it leans forward. The roots in the pot are crammed and going around in circles. So, now time to repot. Ideally it should be done between flowerings when it is resting, or every two years or so, or when the potting medium looks decayed and crumbly.
