Bench Wheel electric skateboard review using a new GoPro. Doing a test run of the BenchWheel using a new GoPro Hero 4 Silver. Containing a few comparisons to the boosted board. Specs from the sales blurrb: (and my comments on each) -- size: 36 in x 9.4 in x 5.9 in/Weight: 15.2 lb *(Pretty Heavy you really would not want to carry this around) 3 Base Layers of Bamboo and 2 layers of fibre glass make this light-weight, resilient and durable while providing excellent grip; Longboard format *(But its not very flexible as the batteries run the full length of the board, it is no where near as flexible as the Boostedboard) Two custom high powered Brushless Motors (Max Output 1800 Watts each, 270 KV) provide speeds up to 20 Mph. *(From what I have heard the top speed is around 15-16Mph) Strong acceleration, uphill climbing capability and regenerative braking. Comp diaper to single engine configurations a twin engine configurations provides a balanced power output on both sides and offers you a much stronger braking essential for your safety when riding high speed *(Not much to say here other than the power is balanced and braking is pretty strong) Ergonomic 2.4G Remote controlling driving modes (energy saving) speed and direction. The controller employs sine wave modulation allowing fine grained speed control compared to many other competitors. *(I have had no disconnections from the remote, which can be quite frequent on Boostedboard 1) Recharge the controller only once per week (800 mAh LiIon) conveniently on the mini USB charging port *(This seems accurate based on my experience) Extra big 8.8 Ah (210 Wh) battery pack extends the driving range up to 12 miles. A big battery pack provides not only Extended Range, but also a higher sustained peak discharge for speeding and climbing.3 – 4 hours Quick charging *(Again these figures seem accurate but in my experience its possible to get slightly more than 12 miles, probably depending on speed) Samsung batteries with high discharge. LiFePO4 batteries possess superior thermal and chemical stability which provides better safety characteristics than those of lithium ion. *(Cannot confirm) --- I hope this was useful and you liked the video.
