"The poor poet (after Carl Spitzweg)", DV, stereo, 3:03, 2010. Textual video, reenactment of Carl Spitzweg´s 1839 painting "Der arme Dichter", from the German Late Romantic/Biedermeier epoch. Text based on original lines mingled among intertextual appropriation and deformation of lines by Vladimir Mayakovsky, John Keats, Ludwig Wittgenstein, George Oppen, Gertrude Stein, Zbigniew Herbert and Konstantinus Kavafis.
