RNA Seq and TopHat

This video uses animation and the UCSC Browser Mirror used by the Genomics Education Partnership to illustrate how RNA Seq data are displayed in the Genome Browser and how TopHat predicts splice junctions. It is associated with the Introducing Genes curriculum, which uses the Genome Browser as a tool for teaching students about the structure of eukaryotic genes.
