*THIS VIDEO IS PRESENTED THE WAY THAT IT OCCURED. I TAKE PARTIAL RESPONSIBILITY IN THIS INCIDENT BASED ON MY ACCOUNT IN THE DESCRIPTION BELOW. DO NOT BOTHER INQUIRING ABOUT THIS VIDEO. DOING SO MAY RESULT IN YOUR ACCOUNT BEING BLOCKED!!*
While on my way back home, I was on Ventura Blvd in Tarzana, just east of Tampa Ave, on the middle lane and needed to hop onto the left hand side to get onto the freeway. So I got in front of a black Honda Civic driven by a tatted-up Hispanic guy (CA Lic #: 6ARB488), but I did not cut him off (distance is distorted in the clip); however, the Prius driver in front, for some odd reason, just randomly slows down. Without even taking an insight of the situation, the Civic driver has a fit with me, and just pointlessly pilots his vehicle ahead and brake-checks me accordingly. I was a bit irritated and just raised my hands, and that pissed the driver off. Shortly after hopping onto the freeway, I taunted the driver as I passed by and starts following me for about 4 miles down the freeway. When traffic comes to a near-complete halt, he immediately cuts in front of me as if to try to get out of the vehicle and attack me or yell at me. I ended up having to cut another vehicle off to get away from this guy because I was fearing for my safety. His girlfriend, who is in the passenger seat, throws something out the window as I drive away. He then continues to taunt me on the freeway while I try fleeing from them, but he was clearly not giving up and so I had to call 911 to report the driver. Fortunately, I was able to escape on the shoulder and take the nearest exit, which discouraged him from following me. Dispatch made the call to have units look for a black Civic, but I was not able to file the police report since I was no longer in any danger.
I just want to clarify that I do take partial responsibility for this incident just because the Prius driver had no reason to slow down, the Civic driver should've handled the situation a lot better, and I should have gone behind the Civic driver in the first place.
I know a couple of weeks prior to this incident, I was told to get a rear dashcam after I nearly got clipped, and so I finally decided to replace my rear dashcam, and it finally came in handy for this situation. Please make the expense of getting a dashcam for the front and the back of the car because you may never know what or who you're going to be dealing with.
