Rough Bush Transplant! Spirea japonica

Caveman Crew yanks a pair of bushes out of the ground and transplants them. This shrub, the Spirea japonica ("Japanese Meadowsweet"), can handle fairly rough treatment and continue to thrive. The transplant is best performed when the plant is dormant and the ground is not frozen. Proper handling is helpful (maintaining a large intact rootball, etc.), but you don't have to be as careful with this plant as you do with some others.
