Routine eye test for Jack revealed serious thyroid condition | Specsavers UK

Jack was suffering from headaches and was struggling to sleep. His mum decided to take him to Specsavers Caterham for a routine eye test. Here, the optometrist looked at the back of Jack’s eye and found swelling of Jack’s optic nerve and immediately referred Jack to A&E. Tests showed that Jack had a problem with his thyroid and is now receiving regular treatment to manage his condition.
