Hi, today we want to find out how much of a benefit the new RTX 2080 Ti would be over a GTX 1080 if you want to maintain 144fps in PUBG with competitive graphics settings (settings with the best compromise between enemy visibility and performance). Of course competitive settings vary a bit, so don't be too stiff on that. Before testing we can already assume that the benefit will be smaller than those 70% fps increase values achieved in other games with maxed out settings, because the CPU will bottleneck to a certain extent (PUBG is known for that issues in general and as said we won't max out the graphics settings). But how small will the gain be? Just 10% fps increase? 30%? 50%? Let's find out! This video contains: One round of sanhok (replay), once rendered in 1440p and once in 1080p. Conclusions Chapters: 1440p Run - 0:11 1440p Results - 23:11 1080p Run - 23:25 1080p Results - 46:25 Conclusion - 46:39 Setup: i7 7700k @ 4.8ghz 16GB DDR4-3200 RAM ASUS TUF Z270 Mark 1 Samsung SSD 960 Pro Win10 x64 (CPU + GPU Watercooled) (OC via MSI Afterburner) Check me out on twitch (german only): https://twitch.tv/risingSilence
