RTX 2080 Ti vs GTX 1080: PUBG Competitive Settings 1440p / 1080p - Worth the Upgrade?

Hi,
today we want to find out how much of a benefit the new RTX 2080 Ti would be over a GTX 1080 if you want to maintain 144fps in PUBG with competitive graphics settings (settings with the best compromise between enemy visibility and performance).
Of course competitive settings vary a bit, so don't be too stiff on that.
Before testing we can already assume that the benefit will be smaller than those 70% fps increase values achieved in other games with maxed out settings, because the CPU will bottleneck to a certain extent (PUBG is known for that issues in general and as said we won't max out the graphics settings).
But how small will the gain be? Just 10% fps increase? 30%? 50%? Let's find out!
