Ry plays with Carnival Cruise Band

Our family recently went on a Carnival Cruise and we walked by a band playing in the casino. I told the band that Rylan wanted to play the drums. They were so kind to oblige, but they thought that a little 11-year old boy just wanted to hit the drums with the sticks. They soon realized that he wasn't just there to goof around, but wanted to play a song with them. "I Love Rock & Roll" was the choice and Rylan counted out the beat and the song started. Soon, every head within earshot had turned and was watching Ry pound on the drums like a pro. Kids and adults alike loved watching him on stage and he got lots of high-fives when he was done and people recognized him throughout the cruise as the kid who sat in with the band!! Of course, as bad luck would have it, I didn't have my camera that first night. But Ry found the band on the next night and sat in again with a nice introduction from the band as their "special guest". He loved it and we loved watching him. Good job, Ry!
