Ryu Hyun-jin 류현진 Running Hard and Brian Wilson 2013-8-23 at Dodger Stadium

Hyun-jin Ryu 류현진 running some wind sprints today in the outfield during batting practice. That's Brian Wilson with the beard and mohawk haircut, the Dodgers new relief pitcher. I think they make Ryu run hard the day before each start. He's getting ready for his start tomorrow against the Boston Red Sox. This only shows about the last half of the sprints he did, sweating hard on a hot day in Los Angeles today. I swear, the poor guy looked like he was gonna die out there by the end. He's going to be pitching at 1:00 PM tomorrow in the hot sun again - I hope they thought of that when they had him doing these sprints - I hope he lasts into the 7th inning at least. After the sprinting, he went and stood completely by himself in the outfield for the remainder of batting practice, until Martin Kim showed up. I guess he has a more serious, no goofing around attitude when he's getting ready to pitch the next day. Also, I didn't see him around in the dugout late in the game, or at the end - they probably sent him home because of the early start the next day.
