Salvation By: Renato Castro Pasion, Jr. May 15, 2018 - Makati, Philippines The Almighty God, Creator of Heavens and Earth Told Abram to go and leave the land of his birth To a country his future descendants will possess Through his offspring, all nations will be blessed So, in faith he went, not knowing what to expect He gave tithe to the King of Salem, Melchizedek The King of Righteousness, the King of Peace Whose Order, Christ would be the High Priest Through Abraham, through Isaac, through Jacob The promise was made and fulfilled by the LORD Twelve sons of Jacob became the Nation of Israel The Northern Kingdom separating many years later The Southern Kingdom of Judah and Benjamin Became the Kingdom of Judah and all that remain From Judah's line came the succession of kings David was born, the greatest king, Israel had seen And from this royal lineage, Jesus Christ arose As clearly foretold by faithful prophets of old The Son of the Most High, will be great indeed God gave Him the throne of His father David Jesus, the Prophet, the Christ, the Messiah Written about by Moses, David, and Isaiah Lamb, Saviour, LORD of Lords, KING of Kings From Whom Salvation the Heavens would bring God revealed Himself first to His Nation, Israel Salvation was for them as far as anyone can tell Through His Son, our Abba revealed a mystery Salvation is also for Gentiles, like you and me Jesus, Word became Flesh, Human and Divine Died, buried, rose on the third day for ALL Mankind This is the Promise given, Abraham can attest Offspring from whom ALL NATIONS will be blessed This was made clear to Peter through a vision What God made clean he shouldn't call impure And just as He made him the Apostle to the Jews God sent an Apostle to the Gentiles, Paul of Tarsus Jesus declared as a testimony to all nations This Gospel of the Kingdom will be preached Sending us to Go, Make Disciples, and Baptize In the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit Teaching to obey everything He has commanded Promising to be with us 'til the very end of the age.
