Samsung just announced three new devices, the Galaxy S20, S20Plus, and the S20 Ultra. All devices have 5G and in the U.K. will come with the Exynos 990 processor. Something also common with all them is a quad HD+ 20:9 display with 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10 plus certified and 240Hz touch would when gaming you get a smooth experience. You can also step it down to 60Hz if you’re not too bothered about stuff like that but you do notice the difference in fluidity. They can all shoot 4K at 60FPS and 8K at 30FPS. On all the devices, Samsung also opted for the latest LPDDR5 RAM so you should see some improvements when it comes to memory management, multi-tasking or running multiple applications simultaneously The s20 is the smallest of the three and I suspect Samsung will sell a lot of these, it comes with at 6.2” Infinity o display and a triple camera setup and you get an option for a 128GB storage with 12GB RAM or 128GB with 8GB RAM and, by the way, all of them can be expanded using a microSD card. Its triple camera is a 12mp ultra-wide With f2.2, 12mp wide at f1.8 with OIS and a 64mp telephoto lens at f2.2 with OIS. That zoom lens on the S20 can do 30x hybrid zoom and a new single take mode which I’ll talk more about later. On the front, you get a 10MP lens with an f2.2 aperture. The S20 has a 4000 mAh battery so it should last you all day. The S20 Plus comes with a slightly bigger 6.7-inch QHD+ Infinity O display and only available with a 128GB storage and 12GB RAM configuration with the opportunity to expand it if needed. On camera, you have a 12MP f2.2 ultra-wide, 12MP F1.8 Wide with OIS, a 64MP telephoto lens with f2.0 and OIS and a depth vision sensor too. On the front is a 10MP shooter with F2.2 aperture. Like the Ultra, you have space zoom which basically means you get a hybrid optic to zoom up to 3x and a super res zoom up to 30x. For battery, you get a 4,500 mAh all-day battery. The S20 Ultra is what I suspect would be aimed at power users. It has a huge 5000 mAh battery with 45W charging support so 100% in just over an hour, 6.9-inch QHD+ display, available in 128GB +12GB RAM or 512GB + 16GB RAM configuration and you can still expand it also, IP68 water and dust resistant certified, 120Hz display also with HDR10+ certification, it’s all-round built for entertainment, productivity and content creation and sharing on the go. The quad-camera configuration on the back consists of 12MP Ultrawide with f2.2 aperture, 108MP Wide with F1.8 aperture and OIS, a 48MP Tele lens with F3.5 aperture and OIS, and a Depth vision sensor. Just like the S20 Plus you also get space zoom with a hybrid optic to zoom up to 10X and a Super Res Zoom at 100x, it’s ridiculous. On the front is a 40MP F2.2 + a 10MP sensor. The Ultra can shoot 8K videos but what’s also amazing is that you can go back into the 8K video and grab a 33MP still from it, so not a screenshot. From all the hardware and software upgrades, night mode should be better compared to the S10 and you’ll even be able to shoot night hyper-lapse videos. What’s also awesome is you now have Pro mode in video, so you can adjust aperture, shutter speed, ISO and even change things like highlights, temperature and more. Back to that new single take mode, you will be able to use all the camera lenses to capture a bunch of content at the same time of which you can then get creative with, this helps when you’re not sure what you want to achieve yet when in the moment. You can also capture a super high res 108MP images and this is achieved using Nona binning or re-mosaic, meaning it captures 9 12MP images and binds them together to make a larger file at the hardware level, great for those landscape shots and at a glance, it’s very quick in processing the images. First impressions? The camera bump I’m not a big fan of but if you get a case, you’ll be able to hide it. The display on all three devices is amazing, 8K video capture with the ability to grab a 33mp still from it on the Ultra is amazing although more of a pro user feature, the battery capacity is very much welcomed on the ultra although will need a real-life test to see how well it works or lasts. If you want the latest Samsung devices and crazy zoom is not your thing, get the s20, if you want best of both worlds, get the plus and if you’re a pro user like me, get the ultra. #SamsungGalaxyS20 #SamsungGalaxyS20Plus #SamsungGalaxyS20Ultra Follow us on social media :) GadgetsBoy: ✩Instagram: http://bit.ly/IG_Gboy ✩Twitter: http://bit.ly/2qp68YAX GagdetsJon: ✩Instagram: http://bit.ly/GB_Jon
