As Mona receives adulation for resolving a tense situation, she becomes even more elated to find out that Martin owns the loose rooster she saved. Mona sees this as an opportunity to once again see the man of her dreams. However, her plan is disrupted when an insecure colleague gets in her way. Meanwhile, Leo's remarks affect Lisa. Adding to Lisa's misery, Martin continues to bother her about their impending merger. She then convinces her fiancé to just cooperate with their parents' plans to get rid of all her personal dilemmas. The Laureanos meet with the Cos to discuss Martin and Lisa's upcoming engagement party and wedding. During their discussion, Martin becomes disheartened upon noticing Lisa's lack of interest. Later, Martin receives a surprise visit from his former lover, Rachel. Elsewhere, Mona witnesses something that upsets her. However, her mood suddenly changes upon learning that Martin wants to meet her.
