For you are free from the old leaven; Christ our paschal lamb has been sacrificed. :8 So let us celebrate our festival, not with any old leaven, not with vice and evil, but with the unleavened bread of innocence and integrity. (Moffatts) Romans 8:5 For those who follow the flesh have their interests in the flesh, and those who follow the Spirit have their interests in the Spirit. 6 The interests of the flesh mean death, the interests of the Spirit mean life and peace. 7 For the interests of the flesh are hostile to God; they do not yield to the law (Nomos) of God (indeed they cannot). 8 Those who are in the flesh cannot satisfy God.
