How active have members of parliament been when it comes to house debates in the last year ? Well a parliamentary monitoring group Mzalendo trust has released a score card revealing that thirteen MPs did not contribute to debate in the National Assembly in 2014. The report also indicates that Senators’ performance improved by 20 percent compared to 2013 with 50 per cent of the Senators having spoken over 100 times. Statistics indicate that Suba MP John Mbadi is the most active contributor to debates in the National Assembly.
