Scratch Built Model Rocket Launched on D Motor

This is a video from my blog "Rocketfoolery", so the intro is a bit wordy, but I eventually get around to launching the rocket... I promise. The first launch features an improperly placed nosecone that comes loose shortly after launch. The second launch was successful with the exception of the recovery.
