This is a scale build of a Scania 111s RTGB 4112, SBAT. An airfield fire truck used by the Swedish air force during the 80’s-90’s. The truck is equipped with a roof mounted fully maneuverable foam canon. There is also a sound module as well as lights mounted. The model body is scratch build of styrene, on Cross RC MC06 chassis. Almost all details are 3D printed based on my own 3D design. The chassis is used stock right from the kit. Due to the quite heavy body the front axle springs have been replaced by harder ones. A no name 17kg MG servo is taking care of the steering and the motor is a Cross RC stock 35T brushed variant managed by a HobbyWing Quickrun 1060 ESC. All the markings are made from vinyl cuts.
The truck is new built and there are still some improvements to do. The chassis settings are still too firm and not as smooth and flexible I want it to be. Some detailing on the interior and driver is also to come. Perhaps most important is that the canon must be functional. For this I have mounted a water tank and pump. When this works I will have a new video made.
Enjoy and thanks for watching!
