Senate Holds It's First Legislative Meeting

The senate held it's first legislative sitting at the KICC and immediately constituted the rules and house business committees which will be in charge of the senate's daily affairs. The all important committee to be chaired by senate speaker Ekwe Ethuro is dominated by the Jubilee coalition and its allies. Some of the senators, though supporting the list, argued it was not fully representative. The senate resumes it's sitting this afternoon at the KICC.
