In her spare time, Murakumo loves manga, to the point that she started making her own. She personally loves to write and draw manga about a post-apocalyptic world where evil shinobi rule it all, and only one good shinobi in a ogre mask can take them all down. Long story short, Murakumo likes to write herself as the hero of a story that sounds like Fist of the North Star. Before it could get really good, though, Murakumo was stumped of drawing a well-done action scene for her manga. After this visual novel sequence, Murakumo sought for Shiki's help on this by requesting a match with her for some inspiration. Speaking of Shiki, we also come to know that, despite seemingly being a ditzy rich girl who would more than love to act out Murky's action scene with style, she's also very insightful in literature, which is why Murakumo went to her for help, and she also surprisingly enjoys reading and reciting the Heart Sutra, a popular teaching engraved in Buddhism. Hmmm... ---------- Murakumo is a girl of two personalities that are as different as Night and Day, and which personalty you experience from her is dependent on whether or not you can see her face. If you can see her cute face, she is an extremely shy girl with extreme social anxiety. She'll try her hardest to cover her face from anyone that can see it, and speaks with the speediest, high-pitched voice you could ever imagine. She'll make you think that she has lungs of steel with all of the talking she does. You'll mostly see and hear this "form" while taking control of her in the Ninja Room (and including changing her in the Dressing Room), during certain cutscenes, and while checking her results after a mission (her chuckling is adorable!). HOWEVER! Once she is able to don her ogre mask, she becomes a stoic, yet bloodthirsty killer who seeks revenge. She lowers her voice to a deep, cold tone, and speaks in a slow, stilted manner. It's this "form" that she feels the most comfortable in, and the only "form" you'll hear during a mission and also during several other cutscenes (you can also bring this form, unmasked, out of her for a second if you pick with her body too much in the Dressing Room). She talks slow enough that I sometimes accidentally skip her dialogue because she might take two or three seconds between breaths to continue her speeches. It's almost as if the mask itself has powers over her behavior. Both voices are from the same VA, by the way. Such talent! Murakumo doesn't have an element, but she does have two weapons: A spear and a bloody cleaver or butcher knife. Her spirit animal is the wolf, and she shows this off well in all of her Secret Ninja Arts. Her primary art summons her first wolf, Kotarou, to pounce at her enemies. Her secondary art summons Kotarou again, as well as a second wolf, Kagerou. They team up against the enemy and attack together in perfect sync. ---------- So then, for Mission 1-03, just use Murakumo to beat Shiki so she can get some inspiration for her manga's big action sequence. ---------- Eventually she succeeds, and appreciates Shiki's help with it. But now... She needed some inspiration to write her story's romantic scene. Yes... A love scene that involves... kissing... Murakumo asks for Shiki's help for this as well, up to including setting the tone with dampened lights and a certain video, and... Shiki totally freaks out and runs for her life. Who knows? It probably has less to do with the kiss itself and possibly more to do with how Murakumo wanted to kiss Shiki WHILE STILL WEARING THAT SCARY MASK!
