As creator would say... ...After her long crusade against Illidan failed. Maiev and along with her watchers are now imprisoned into the Warden's Cage, guarded by her jailor Akama. But he distrusts of Illidan, he still sees him as an enemy that needs to be perished. As he plans to betray the Betrayer, his plans were delayed preparing and waiting for a perfect opportunity to strike. He knew he will not stand long against Illidan and his vast forces, he needed a strong ally to aid him. Maiev hungered for revenge and offered her assistance to Akama saying Illidan's death belong to her. He reluctantly agreed thinking, her great hatred to Illidan will serve him well and his plans.
