SHANE'S BARBER SHOP :: BEHIND the CHAIR ::

Shane's Barber Shop and Shave Parlor in San Mateo, featuring Shane Nesbitt,Travis Sweeney and Cedric Senica. This Short Film was made for the @storytellingparade film contest about a business in your community. When we started this project we did not know what we would were jumping into. After hearing the great stores of Shane's barber shop and how he and his fellow barbers got started we new we had something greater than just a 5 min short. After hearing all these interesting stories about the barber culture from the past 10 years and how it relates to our home town San Mateo… we had to turn this into a full documentary. We plan on shooting more and more this winter and digging deeper into this growing trade of Barbering.
