Recently I lost my job that I worked really hard to get ever since I was 18. I lost it primarily because the company I worked for lost the contract I was on. However the issue goes much further than just that. I don't really want to get into the type of work I do for confidentiality purposes but my career field is law enforcement related. I'm 30 years old and as I said earlier I worked really hard to get the job that I dreamed of since I was 18. When I was about 23 after applying around at many different companies I finally got an entry level position at an ok company for my career field. Once I got in I quickly began working even harder and making many sacrifices that I needed to make in order to be able to acquire the certifications and experience necessary to further my career. When I was about 27 after bouncing around from a few different companies and gaining all the experience and certifications needed. I finally got my big break and got into a really good company, with really great pay and really great benefits. After getting into this company I quickly began working my way up and landed an even better paying supervisor/management position. Needless to say I was extremely happy. All my hard work and sacrificing I made all of those years was finally paying off. After a little over 2 years of working for the company, vicious lies and rumors began spreading about me which eventually got to my bosses. It got to the point that my bosses and I had numerous meetings about it. They knew that something was wrong because everything that was being said about me was completely out of my character. However due to the validity and nature of the vicious allegations they had to treat it seriously and follow procedure. I asked them on multiple occasions who was spreading these allegations?
