I wanted to make another single oil soap and decided to try a 100% shea butter soap. Thank you so much for watching, liking, & subscribing! :)
As you’ll see in the video, this soap traced almost immediately and had to be hand stirred. The lather is virtually non-existent, more of a silky lotion feeling (lather test in video). The lather test at 3 days (and again at 4 weeks) produced the same results. I decided not to scent this soap, as I wanted to see how oil and lye behaved without fragrance. The cured soap smells faintly of shea butter.

In case you’re interested, I have an affiliate store where I’ve listed all of the soap making supplies and materials that I purchase on Amazon: http://amzn.to/2DZmGfJ
If you use those links to buy anything, it won’t cost you anything extra, but I will receive a very small percentage of the sale. Every little bit helps, though, so thank you very much if you do! :)
