Shenendehowa Shining Stars 2015 - "Shooting Star"

Shen's Shining Stars performed on January 24th, 2015 at the Homeshow and is in it's 2nd year at Shenendehowa. They first debut on January 25th, 2014 during the Homeshow. Started by Kathryn Moore as her Girl Scout gold award, the guard strives to advocate self-acceptance and the inclusion of others. we all have something that makes us different, but it is these differences that make us stronger individuals. We all bring something positive to the table and can learn so much from each other. Shen's Shining Stars is a place to feel comfortable and make friends, a place where you can feel accepted for who you are. Don't be afraid to shine. We would like to thank The Shenendehowa School District, for their continued support of this new program. Judi Weatherhead, for her countless hours spent helping spread the word about the program and attending all of the rehearsals to help make the students better. A big thank you to the members of the Shen OPEN Guard who came to every rehearsal and helped the students. The countless hours given to this program do not go unnoticed and are vital to its continued success. Students involved have worked very hard and have made amazing progress.
