Shifting Identity

This performance is a reenactment of my personal transformation from a civilian/student to "soldier". In this reenactment the simple gesture of a haircut becomes consumed with cultural and social implications that force a shift in an internalized Identity. This points in to the inherent instability and simultaneously the power of the narratives and myths that construct identity.
