Short Docs Web Series sits down with Nepalese multimedia journalist and CUNY Graduate School of Journalism alum, Anuz Thapa, and discuss his vision of a more inclusive media and his latest project, ‘Fighting for Justice’, a documentary that focuses on the struggle of a New York Bangladeshi community in Queens to gain justice for the 2016 execution-style murders of fellow community members, Imam Maulana Akonjee and Thara Uddin.
