Short Skirt Long Jacket -- Cake - Bass Cover

Cover of Cake's Short Skirt Long Jacket. I'm using a heavily modified Squier vintage modified jazz bass (Nordstrand vintage nj4 p'ups, Audere JZ3 preamp, badass II bridge, Warmoth birds-eye maple neck) run into a Markbass Compressore compressor into my Markbass little mark III. Out of its DI I run into an old mixing console I had lying around (peavey PV14), mixed with the backing tracks, then console tape out into the line-in of my laptop. Pretty different setup than usual for me. Currently on xmas break, so I don't have access to my protools rig. I think things sound really nice though, so I'm potentially going to back off from the world of digital audio for a while and focus on keeping things analog.
