Overall: 8.5 - 9/10 Graphics / Sound: 10/10 + Atmosphere depicting just about every type of adventure one can imagine in Skyrim + Good attention to detail + Variety of styles to match a multitude of players Story: 8/10 + Nifty little back story involving the tower and Dragonborn Gameplay: 8/10 * Mostly storage and house roleplay + Interesting dragon battle to start Player Bonuses: 8.5/10 + Soooo much storage, going with aforementioned variety of styles + The home itself, which is NPC-friendly * Not much else going on (mileage varies) RATING LEGEND (as of April 7, 2013): If everything works mechanically, accomplishes what it says / sets out to do: 8/10 Especially done well: +0.5 or +1 Personal like or dislike of content (range): -1, -0.5, 0, +0.5, +1 + comments denote positive experience * comments denote neutral experience / subjective flaw that does not prevent completion or enjoyment * comments do not lower a score - comments lower the score and denote flaws / mistakes that noticeably hinder progress or experience Disclaimer: My rating system is based on a process of finding whether the game itself works (programming, story, mechanics, etc); after that, personal gripes or taste can be explored. Even if I consistently like / do not like something, I would rather find a logical backup to why it may be good/bad instead of just giving a high/low score. There is no perfect mix of objective and subjective ratings, so while a number score may be important to some, remember that games are about the experience instead.
