Sodick's K3HN EDM Hole Driller Video

Sodicks CNC small hole driller has a large 12 x 16 x 12 axis travel and its LK1 CNC control can be integrated with an indexing axis which is an ideal solution for the machining of small holes into aerospace or medical parts. The K3HN can EDM high speed holes from .236 down to .010. The K3HN offers faster cutting speed than its predecessor the K1CN thanks to the K-SMC (Sodick motion controller) which is standardequipment. The K-SMC enables optimum servo control and faster cutting speed. The K-SMC (Sodick motion controller) was designed by the Sodick research and development team located in San Jose, CA. The auto-depth function automatically regulates the machining depth of the electrodes. This function is especially helpful for blind holes. The new user-friendly LK1 control is equipped with automatic programming software(LN Assist). LN Assist enables even beginners to easily operate the machine. Complicated programming is also possible by using several calculation and macro programs.
