Speech delivered by Mr. Lalith Weeratunga - Opening ceremony of MILODA

"MILODA" the Academy of Financial Studies established under the Ministry of Finance and Planning of Sri Lanka was declared open by HE the President on 30.01.2013. Mr. Lalith Weeratunga, Secretary to the President, Dr. P.B. Jayasundera, Secretary to the Treasury and many distinguished guests took part in this event together with several former secretaries to the General Treasury, adding colour to the event. The "Miloda" will contribute towards financial studies at international level with all the facilities including lecture halls, auditoriums, modern audio-visual technological appliances is a milestone in the financial and economic academic field of this country.
