About 2 years ago we had our first ever online sponsorship contest for a spot on the Sweets Pro Team. That contest produced some of the best Kendama edits we have ever seen and it also brought a lot of attention to really good unknown kendama players who hadn't made a name for themselves yet. We were so stoked on all the amazing entries, we had no idea of the hidden talent within our community. We are happy to announce that starting today we are hosting another online sponsorship contest. This time it is for a spot on our Homegrown team! The Homegrown Team (formerly CKG) has expanded recently with the additions of Luke Ford and Chelsea May Perez, but we are still looking for one more player to add. It could be you! Here is what you need to know. The Title of your video should look like this Sponsor me Sweets | Homegrown Team | Your Name 2.) Video must be no longer than 2 minutes 3.) First round entries are due by midnight on Sunday August 9th. Entries must be posted to the Facebook event page under the thread that says "Round 1 Entries" 4.) Video must have an about me section describing a little bit about yourself. 5.) You can be from any country -- What is expected from a Homegrown Team member? - Must be a positive role model in the Kendama community - Must be active on Social Media as it pertains to Kendama - Must be willing to travel to Kendama events near your location What do I get as a Homegrown Team Member? - Assistance with travel expenses to Kendama events - KENDAMAS!
