Well this vest fixed the issue with shoulder straps sticking out from the back the fabric panels ones have but that gives it a whole new issue. Now the stab proof vest waistcoat in this video runs small, I'm XL - 2XL and this vest doesn't adjust or fit those sizes, it's practically a kids sized stab vest. Not only doesn't the vest fit,v the panels don't cover the vital organs, heart and lungs and because of no adjustable shoulder straps, the stab protection can't be moved up. This vest wouldn't protect me if I got stabbed wearing it and the steel panels are the smallest panels I've ever had in a stab vest. Just feeling the panels in their fabric housing there's a lot of empty space that isn't covered by steel. So imagine a pyramid design of steel and it being narrow at the top and widening as it goes to my hip, is about as wide as an A4 sheet of paper. So offers very little stab protection to me as a wearer. This is not a functional stab proof vest and on top of its limited protection to me, being steel it makes my belly look massive, so hardly covert and fitted. The fabric waistcoat vests I've purchased fit and look a lot better than this one and offer far more stab protection. If you buy a stab vest, make sure you feel how much area is covered in the stab protection panel and know where you are covered and where you aren't from stabbing.
