Every year Afriky Lolo brings the culture of West Africa to St. Louis with the Annual African Dance Celebration on June 8th. The 16th Annual African Dance Celebration will showcase traditional West African Dance, powerful music, vibrant costumes, and unique lighting designs. Afriky Lolo is a registered non-profit organization that is committed to bringing West African dance and culture to St. Louis, Metro East and the greater Eastern Missouri region through teaching and performing.  This year’s 16th Annual African Dance Celebration, Afriky Lolo joins forces with guest artists Antonio Douthit-Boyd and Kirven Douthit-Boyd, former principal dancers with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and current co-artistic directors of dance at COCA to bring an interactive experience to life.
