A song that is not really about a bus. The idea came to me while riding the bus in Hollywood and a woman was shouting "STOP THE BUS" many times, while her kid was stuck in the safety belt. She didn't do a lot, just holding tight to her Coke and stuff, while the kid struggled to get out (which he finally did). All day long we shouted: STOP THE BUS, while the rain was pissing down on Hollywood Boulevard. Tinseltown in the rain.
The song is probably more about the darkness in the world, people being disconnected and the desire, sometimes, to step out, looking for the light. (I'm fine, by the way).
