http://amzn.to/2BtaUJ5 - Aquarium striped Raphael Catfish Care is easy because these fish always hide. Make sure they are eating though. Feed a sinking prorate food when the lights go off. Here is a link: Sinking Shrimp Pellets: http://amzn.to/2BtaUJ5 Added comments on fish tanks: Can female betta fish live together? They can live toghether in a group of like 2-5 i dont know if they can be kept toghether in higher numbers bc i have never done it my self. There are many things to consider here. 5 is the suggested minimum to spread aggression. Which in itself can take time to get right. Keeping a sorority is not ideal unless you really know what you are doing. You need to know what temperaments to look for. And if/when one is too aggressive for the sorority life, you need to have the space to separate her from the group. I’m not saying it cant been done. I’ve seen Oscars in the same tank as goldfish and not eat them. It just isn’t ideal and your results aren’t typical. It’s called a sorority tank that has 5 female and other fish of same size a 20 gallon tank is the minimum size for this set up. I have 16 together. It always, always, ALWAYS depends on the fish. can never base it on someone else’s experience. Some things to consider are, size of your tank, needs to be heavily planted, better if you introduce more than two at a time and introductions do take time. You have to watch them when first introduced and be ready with an alternative for any that don’t work. I had two that didn’t work out because they were more aggressive than the rest and they have their own tanks. The 16 together have had no issues, they have neon tetras and shrimp with them. This^^ and to add to this, be prepared to do some rearranging if you lose one of the girls. It can disrupt the whole group, & what once worked for months or years can become a mess very quickly. My sorority had 15 girls, & things went smoothly for over a year until one of them died. I rearranged everything, put the girls in cups to float, & then reintriduced them in an effort to curb the aggression that broke out. I did everything i had read to do, & still wasn't able to get things under control again. I haven't tried a sorority since. They are beautiful when they work, but when they don't.
