Robert Fisk asks: Why not sue the American weapons makers? Fisk witnessed an ambulance being torn apart in 1996 in Lebanon by a Hellfire missile fired by the Israelis. After collecting the debris and computer plate, he traced the missile back to Boeing, and showed them pictures of the dead women and children. Fisk found out that the missile was sold by Boeing/Lockheed to the US Marine Corps to be used against Iraqi forces in Kuwait in 1991. When 350 missiles were left over the Marines were ordered to offload them at the Haifa munitions pier as part of an arms agreement with Israel.
