Swansea Bus Museum, Running Day, Sun 28th Oct 2012.

))))))))) Watch in 720 HD.((((((((( On a decidedly damp Sunday we drive over to Swansea Bus Museum from home, a round trip of 230 miles. It's their running Day and i wanted to get to drive an ex South Wales Transport AEC Regent once again;being a lifelong fan. Especially as it's my 'home turf' and i moved away in 1969 !! Before moving to England i travelled to school on The Regent V's from Mumbles. So have always fond memories of this type of bus. 586, 154 FCY was built in 1963. First bit of film is shot just as we come into Oystermouth on the way to Limeslade, Mathew is driving the outward trip. The second part is filmed by my better half, as i take a turn to drive back to the Museum. The journey is Limeslade to just before Blackpill. My gratitude goes to Malcolm who kindly let me drive his bus , and also to Mathew who shared the driving with me. All in all a cracking visit to the Museum, although the weather was a bit damp at times. Roll on next visit in February 2013.
