T-155 Firtina 155mm L52 SP Howitser

The Turkish version of the Korean K-9 Thunder is almost the same. The Turret is completely a new design and the hull has some minor changes compared to the original K-9. The howitser is exactly the same. The Turkish version has a Turkish designed domestic fire control computer. The turret is also different than the K-9. The 155mm L-52 caliber howitser can fire to a range of 30km with standard ammunition and 40km with 'Base Bleed' or RAP ammo. The T-155 can operate as 'single vehicle, one battery' concept and is fitted with a autoloader. The vehicle is lighter than the PzH-2000 of Germany and fires the same ammo. It is more accurate than it's Russian counterparts.
