T-Mobile US to Expand LTE Coverage Past 250 Million PoPs in 2014

The Uncarrier is to expand its LTE coverage past 250 million PoPs in 2014 using AWS Band 4 (1700/2100) and PCS Band 2 (1900) spectrum alone. The first two minutes are John Legere at the T-Mobile US (NYSE:TMUS) Q4 and Full Year 2013 Earnings Conference Call. The rest is Neville Ray at a Morgan Stanley conference. T-Mobile's LTE covers 209 million PoPs while its entire 2G network covers 293 million. T-Mobile recently bought 700 A-Block (Band 12) LTE spectrum from Verizon (NYSE:VZ) which covers 158 million PoPs.
