This event was designed to force our medics to employ echelons of care (EOC) and determine any Priorities Of Care (POC): Self, buddy, and medic aid in that order. We see to often Care Under Fire (CUF) simply dumbed down to drag and go and that doesn't address the complexity of care management during sustained fire fights. The notes in the video are narrative based on our AAR shouldn't be taken as "How To", as the decisions made by our operators were specific to these conditions and this event. Hindsight 20/20 changes a decision we get that. But they don't know what they don't know when they don't know it. Conditions: -Live Fire -Responder: CCW/EDC gear only (2 mags and a TQ) as he fought his way back to his secondary position i.e. desk where he had more ammo. -Operator: Full kit. Having heard the gun shots, he was "dressed" for the occasion. This was training so the only rehearsals they had were for fire control and safety. Fresh runs for each of them so things were missed but all in all a good run for the team. #LessonsLearned. 2016 National TACMED champions #HuntHarmHeal on InstaGram@ weaponized_medicine To learn: www.CAGmain.com To buy: www.TrainSup Cen.com #ReadySureSecure
