Takeoff Bishop Airport Flint MD-88 To Atlanta

April 18, 2012 Taxi, takeoff and climb from Bishop Airport, Flint, Michigan to Atlanta on an MD88. Sorry about the focus and spots in the upper part of the frame. I love airplanes and my heart was beating so fast it was hard to hold the camera steady. It was a smooth takeoff from from runway 18. During takeoff the camera was pointing East. Hill road can be seen as we just lifted off. We turned East as we traveled along I-69. Near the end of the video @ 7:17 Holloway Reservoir can be seen at the top. Clarity would have been better if the auto-focus were left off and manual focus set to infinity. I took my GPS on board with me and was fascinated by the readings. It indicated a speed of 500mph with the map moving faster than it ever had in the car - then the flight attendant informed me it had to be turned off. I complied but I don't think it would really interfere with any instrumentation one board since it is a receiver. I know some spurious RF may radiate from the oscillators in it, but the thing is FCC type accepted. If they let one person have it then they would have to let everyone. If they would just let me sit in the cockpit it would solve everything!
